RADMOR

2020 · Seattle, Washington
Co-Founder & Creative Director

Golf is a game played outdoors, surrounded by nature, yet played by people dressed head to toe in plastic (e.g. polyester). RADMOR is the first golf brand focused on abstaining from the use of virgin polyester. Instead we work with recycled ocean plastics when performance demands, Peruvian pima cotton, and regenerative cellulose fibers like lyocell.

The idea is older than the company. Bob Conrad and I were roommates and teammates at Washington, when I wrote a business plan for a golf apparel business, mainly because we hated golf clothes. It finally came together in 2020, a few months prior to the pandemic, and 26 years after that first plan.

My last years in denim were focused on helping bring awareness and change to an overly polluting apparel industry. Excessive water usage, antiquated machines and inefficient techniques, all helped create a horrible situation for fashion, especially denim. RADMOR applies that knowledge, bringing a fresh perspective to the golf apparel industry and making more sustainable clothing a priority. That said, sustainability only goes so far, as fashion and style require that our designs work from the first tee through dinner.
